I went to a tavern at Shimokitazawa with my friend.
This tavern is where one of our friend is working for.
We ate until we became full.

Afterward, we went to the amusement arcade, and take Purikura.
Purikura is a machine that takes photographs and process them.

The photograph can be used as stickers.

  1. Purikura sounds like fun! We also have photo booths in shopping malls in America, but I don't think the machines process them quite the same as they do in Japan. Also, I have never seen American photo booths make pictures into stickers- they are usually printed onto regular photo paper to keep as a memory.

When you get the stickers, do you stick them onto anything, or do you keep them on the paper?

  2. I cannot wait to go to Japan and make my own Purikura. We do not have machines in America that can make it. I like to take pictures with my friends and I think Purikura would be a fun way to do so.

  3. Haha, I used a Purikura machine when I visited Japan! It was fun, but I looked funny in all of the pictures! And not in a good way ;P
American picture booths are really boring in comparison, and they are hard to come by. I bet if they brought Purikura to America, the people here would love it
